"To encourage economic vitality and preservation of our Historic Downtown District while maintaining our small town quality of life."

WATERVILLE MATTERS

The Waterville Main Street Association is a 501(c)3 organization that formed in 2012. Our organization is comprised of 100% volunteers, including long-time Waterville residents and business owners, as well as people who more recently joined the community.

Appreciating the significance of the restoration of the many historically recognized buildings in the downtown district of Waterville, our primary goal, as expressed in our Mission Statement, is to initiate and support the building owners with their efforts in preserving their buildings.

Washington Trust for Historic Preservation
Events

Waterville Main Street board meetings are held the 2nd/4th Tuesday of each month at 9:30am at the Waterville Public Library (visitors are welcome).

We appreciate all of the participation throughout 2023 in our events, including the Community Garage Sale and Farmers Markets. Click on the "More" button below to see the complete list of upcoming events.

Barn Quilt Trail

Barn Quilts of Douglas County, Washington is an all-volunteer group affiliated with the Waterville Main Street Association, with the mission of creating county-wide and heritage-honoring projects that will reflect the county’s appreciation for our agricultural economy, draw visitors into our county and positively impact the local economy.

Get Involved

As a mission-driven organization, the Waterville Main Street Association (WMA) is working to serve all businesses in its downtown district. The WMA is a volunteer-only organization - we are looking for community and business members willing to work towards enhancing the historical, cultural and architectural features that make our community unique and appealing.
