2021 Farmers Market Highlights

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the 2021 Farmers Market held at Pioneer Park throughout the summer growing season. Our local farmers and vendors provided locally produced fruit, vegetables, baked goods, and so much more! Here are a few highlights we'd like to share:

  • Each of the 3 markets drew approximately 24 vendors from the Waterville and Wenatchee areas.

  • All of the goods being sold were either homemade or homegrown, giving our local community a venue to market their crafts and fresh vegetables and fruits.

  • Waterville's beautiful Pioneer Park provided a perfect venue giving most of the vendors welcomed shade.

  • Four of the most popular vendors were kids selling the fresh vegetables they had grown or crafts they had created.

  • The PEO Chapter Z and Waterville Federated Church raised funds as they provided delicious baked goods.

  • Fresh Quincy corn, melons and various fruits grown in Orondo were provided for sale for freezing and canning.

The 2022 Market dates are July 9th, August 13th and Saturday September 10th in Pioneer Park. Times to be announced at a later date. Please contact Katie Oberweiser, Market Manager, at 509-881-1077 for information. We look forward to having you join us in 2022 at future markets!
